I’m Cooper Woodward, a Journalism and Sports Communications student at Quinnipiac University in the 4+1 program, where I’m also pursuing my MBA. Between serving as Sports Editor of The Quinnipiac Chronicle and working as Central Production Lead at Vox Church, I’ve spent much of my time finding ways to tell stories, whether through writing, broadcasting, or live production.
Photography wasn’t something I originally expected to fall in love with. My interests started with journalism and sports, but I’ve come to appreciate how a single image can tell a story in a way that words sometimes can’t. There’s something special about capturing a moment as it happens, whether it’s the emotion after a big win, the intensity of competition, or a moment behind the scenes that most people never get to see.
I’m still learning, growing, and figuring out where this passion will take me, and that’s part of what makes it exciting. I never expected photography to become something I cared so much about, but I’m glad it did. I’m looking forward to continuing to develop my skills, exploring new opportunities, and telling stories one frame at a time.
